It's Halloween Up In Here!

That's right ladies and gentlemen. Halloween is here again and with it the 3 "C's". Candy, Costumes and Crafts.

I'm not what one would call a gifted Halloween costume idea comer upper with. Don't get me wrong, when I get an idea, it is done to perfection (evidenced by my spot on Amy Winehouse costume from a few years ago), it's just so difficult to come up with that unique and original idea.

Candy, yes please. Candy Corn, mini Snickers, Sweet Tarts, it's all just too good to be true.

Then comes my expertise, Crafts. With October, comes my marathon crafting that doesn't end until Christmas. So many holidays to make fun things for in just two short months. I've decided to share some of my favorites that I've seen this year. I'll also be showing off a few last minute ideas on AM Northwest Halloween morning. Happy crafting!

Holy Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! This is unbelievably cool!

This is just plain gross and I love it.

What a clever idea to decorate both your walls and tables.

I am super excited to work on these tomorrow.

I made these last year and they were sooo easy.

P.S. CoCo Designs' 25 Days of Christmas series is just around the corner. Be on the lookout for some kick ass Christmas good stuff starting December 1st!

A Penny For Your Thoughts

It's here! My vignette for Serving Up Style has been installed and is showing now as we speak. The amount of work that goes into this event is unreal, both pre and post show. The two weeks leading up to the event always makes me question why I signed up for another year, but the end result makes it all worth while. And the money raised goes to the amazing Molly's Fund Fighting Lupus.

Along with the design freedom and raising money, there is also a group of awards that are handed out for different categories. All of those but one are handed out tonight at the Gala Dinner. Keep your fingers crossed for CoCo Designs.

The final award is handed out on Monday morning after voting is tallied for the People's Choice Award. This year Houzz.com is sponsoring online voting for people that can't make it to the show, but can view photos online. So loyal readers, please click on the link and vote for CoCo Designs' "A Penny For Your Thoughts".
