Tiger Beat

How many times have you seen an you seen an outfit on the catwalk and thought, "That would make a stunning room!"? Maybe it's just me. I have always firmly believed that fashion and interior design go hand in hand. Watch the fashion shows and then see what pops up in the home good lines. You'll totally see what I'm talking about.

Not only would I wear this outfit by Manish Arora (yes, face decor included), but I would LOVE to do a room based on it. A lovely light, minty blue, gold, brass, black, sparkles and best of all... A tiger. Talk about a sex kitten space. Rawwrrr!

You Better Work! Dresses

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
I'm not so patiently waiting for the day when I can afford and wear all of the dresses of my dreams. Every season, my favorite designers taunt me with their new creations and I realize I've missed yet another season of glam. I figured out a plan, though. 1. Win Powerball. 2. Live in a city where Tevas with socks and pajama bottoms aren't an acceptable item to be worn in public. Will it happen? Can a small town girl's dream come true. I believe so. Positive thoughts. Positive thoughts.

In the meantime, I have the pictures and my blog. Next best thing, right? Oh, and I know I have a lot of Alexander McQueen dresses, but we all know McQueen is one of my favorites. I can't help it. Stop yelling at me!

You Better Work! Shoes

I think it's safe to say that fashion and interior design go hand in hand. At least, for me they do. Both are about individual style, taste and a way to express yourself. If we can't be ourselves, what's the point?

With that said, here goes a new series on my little old blog, "You Better Work!". If you aren't familiar with the phrase, you should brush up on your 90's pop culture trivia (ahem, RuPaul!). Work it, girl!
