25 Days of Christmas CoCo Style - Day 1: Stag Party

Hey, hey, hey! It's December 1st and you know what that means... 25 Days of Christmas CoCo Style is back, baby! I've got some pretty awesome goodies lined up for this year and I'm super excited to share them with you.

First up, STAG PARTY! I know when you hear the phrase "Stag Party" you don't instantly think of Christmas. More so strippers, stale booze and cigarettes. But if you're from the Portland area, you will know the event that tells me the Christmas season has officially begun...

The Portland Oregon White Stag turns into Rudolph for all of downtown to see and enjoy. I don't care how many times I pass that sign, I always look and I always get a little giddy. Speaking of giddy, the little deer below are too much. I'd like one of each, pretty please.

25 Days of Christmas CoCo Style - Day 2: Christmas Trees

I love Christmas Trees. The holiday decor just doesn't look done until the tree is up and decorated. I'm a Noble Fir gal myself, but that doesn't mean I'm opposed to a more alternative version of the holiday favorite. Small apartments, allergies and pets are all reasons that the traditional tree may not work for some people. Or hey, maybe you just want to try out something different. I searched the interwebs and found a few for you.

Lacking free floor space? Utilize your ceiling and hang one or both of these fun mobiles.

This prelit twig tree saves space and time with the lights already attached.
Another version of the whimsy tree, sans lights.

When one tree just isn't enough, go for the set of six.

Twist and turn this baby and create the design you're looking for.

Throw together this DIY cardboard tree quicker than a trip to the tree lot.

Scraps from the nursery. Cheapest Christmas Tree I've ever seen.

 Merry Christmas!

Quilting Bee

The quilted trend that is among us is so much fun. It makes me feel all cozy inside, like I should be drinking some hot cocoa and reading a good book kind of cozy.

Whether you do a whole sofa like below or just some fun drawer pulls, it's easy to incorporate this trend. And these examples are just the tip of the iceberg. If you look for it, you can find the quilted pattern in just about anything and about every price range.

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things: One-Four

I would like an announcer Oprah style that announces my Favorite Things posts. That or Julie Andrews singing an intro.

I want to stay at the New Hotel in Athens. So bright and airy.

If I could pull this look off, I would purchase the bathing suit in 2.7 seconds. Damn winter weight.

Stumped for a unique gift idea? Have a custom head Pez made. Hello! So cool!

The ultimate fitted shirt... Fabric in a can. Yes, I said a can.

Gilded Mint on Etsy has some superb artwork to jazz up your walls.

Yeah, I know. Most people don't like pigeons. But I think we can all agree that these pigeon lamps are very different than the standard city dwelling type.

My dogs are turning seven in July and they have requested this bed in black as their birthday gift. Uncle Greg, are you listening?

Little kids in sunglasses make me happy. Especially this kid. Could he be any cuter? The answer would be no. I'm one lucky auntie.
