2009 Color Forcast - Interior Design

According to Jackie Jordan, Director of color from Sherwin-Williams, those influences are converging in new and surprising ways, resulting in a complex, sophisticated palette. Here’s what you should be on the look-out for:

• Natural flower and root dyes
• Red and gold inspired by the Beijing Summer Olympics
• Raw, natural materials
• Mineral hues (Mother of Pearl, warm metallic shades)
• Sassy beige
• Violets and plums will continue their regal influence
• Deep blues
• Muddier more yellow based greens
• Warm grays
• Mock croc is the pattern to have this year
