Rustic Baby Shower

Over the weekend I had the honor of co-hosting a baby shower for my dear friend, Murin, and it was awesome (if I do say so myself). Our friend, Robin, and I started planning this shindig a few months ago. We wanted to create a shower that wasn't the "standard", while incorporating aspects of Murin's wedding into the design. Thanks to family, friends, Pinterest and a lot of blood, sweat and tears, I think it's safe to say we pulled off one hell of a shower. And Muriny deserves it!

GETTING OUR NOSH ON: We created this table staging with canning jars in varying colors and sizes, antique doilies in all shapes and sizes, flowers, twine, ribbon, burlap, tree stump slices, mini-chalkboards, handmade toothpick flags and a vintage wood crate.

PARTY FAVORS: Handmade S'more and mini-garden kits were wrapped in clear cellophane and tied with raffia and wood grain thank you cards.

PARTY GARLAND:  Garland was made with strips of fabric and thick twine. We placed these garlands throughout the space to pull in the primary colors at all levels.

SIGNATURE COCKTAIL AND SPIRITS:  What's a party without a signature cocktail? Served in small canning jars with striped straws and fresh blueberries and pomegranate seeds. Wine, champagne and sparkling water were also served.

So adorable baby shower party décor!! All this baby shower decoration stuff is quite easy to arrange and gives wonderful looks in tiny budget. My cousin wants to host baby shower party for a friend at one of domestic San Francisco venues. I’ll suggest this party theme to her!!
