Living in a smaller house or apartment with limited square footage can make you feel like there is zero room for holiday decor. Not so, my friend. All it takes is a little inspiration and some top notch problem solving skills. And a little bit of a designer's eye doesn't hurt.
1. CEILINGS
A plethora of space that often gets forgotten is the ceiling. With almost
nothing taking up space on the ceiling, you can hang virtually anything.
Fabric, ornaments, stars, lights, tinsel, garland, and on and on.
Get crazy and come up with something original.
2. WALLS
Another great space-saver is the wall. It can be as easy as switching out a print or
frame or mix it up and add something a little more elaborate. To keep your walls free
from tons of nail holes, try removable hooks.
4. EXISTING PIECES
Remember to include your existing furniture. Just swap out your daily decor
and bring in some holiday sparkle. It will make your space feel brand-spankin-new.
5. SMALLER SCALE
Just because you don't have a lot of space, doesn't mean you can't have your favorite
decorations. With the convenience of Etsy and other handmade websites, you can
find almost anything on a smaller scale without losing the quality. And, if you
can't find what you want, don't be afraid to ask for custom pieces. Or if you're
feeling really ambitious, try and come up a craft plan and make it yourself.

3. WINDOWS
Everybody has windows, at least I hope everyone has windows.
Don't leave them out of the holiday fun. If you have a ledge, be sure to use
the space. You can also add on to curtain rods and window panels.
