I appreciate any and every excuse to dress up and the next couple of weeks are packed full of reasons to do just that. Christmas parties, Christmas, New Year's Eve. This makes me a happy girl.

Let's face it. In the city of Portland, there aren't many opportunities to step out in sequins and lace. It's one of those cities where people feel jeans and a North Face jacket are always appropriate. I'm all for comfort and staying dry, but come on. It doesn't kill you to step it up every once in a while.
